The Western Australian Government is implementing staged measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus in the community and save lives. To respond to some of the particular challenges this has created, they are asking you, the Western Australian community, to share your innovative ideas on iThink.
iThink is an online ideas community initially launched for the WA public sector to contribute ideas to make our workplaces even better. With the support of the Deputy Premier and Health Minister Roger Cook, and innovative and highly respected surgeon and researcher Professor Fiona Wood AM, iThink has been opened to those outside the public sector to harness the ideas and expertise of the Western Australian community.
iThink hopes to harness the expertise of the WA community and put bright ideas in front of the right people. This community platform is being used to collect great ideas from the Western Australian community on how to better:
- work with manufacturers, entrepreneurs and innovators to harness new and emerging technologies
- educate and change behaviours of community members to ensure everyone stays safe and well
- support vulnerable community members.
Ideas can be posted on iThink by anyone in the WA community. They are visible to all users, and also allow people to provide constructive feedback and vote on their favourite ideas.
