WADSIH Stakeholder Breakfast – The National AI Plan: What it Means for Western Australia

We are hosting an exclusive Stakeholder Breakfast on Wednesday 18 February 2026 at Pan Pacific Perth, focused on the newly released National AI Plan and what it means for Western Australian industry, the public sector, and universities — including national priorities, opportunities for growth and adoption, and the role of responsible AI in supporting trust and safety.

This event is designed for senior leaders across government, industry and universities who are shaping the future of AI in Western Australia — from adoption and productivity to capability uplift and responsible AI governance.

Speakers at this event include:
📣 Beth Worrall (National AI Centre, via live stream) providing an update on the Australian Government’s AI direction
📣 Natalia Kacperek (Chief Data Officer, Office of Digital Government) sharing a WA Government perspective on how the state is tracking against the national agenda and where the biggest opportunities lie.
📣 Alex Jenkins (Director, WA Data Science Innovation Hub WADSIH)) outlining how WADSIH is responding to the National AI Plan — supporting Western Australian stakeholders to build AI capability, drive meaningful adoption, and strengthen collaboration across the ecosystem.
