WADSIH is partnering with the Innovators Tea Party to bring you STEM Career Speed Network. This event is geared towards high-school students (years 10, 11, and 12) curious about all things STEM. Participants will get to have 1-on-1 conversations with successful women working in STEM. These conversations aim to inspire and provide insight into the working experiences of a STEM career. Each meeting will also involve a hands-on activity to show students the real-world STEM skills involved in each mentor’s job.
The event will be split into a Technology, Engineering, and Data stream and a general STEM stream, allowing participants to attend the stream more closely aligned with their interests.
STEM fields covered at this event include: Medical Physicists, Medical Student, Chemical Science, Technology Engineer, Agricultural Science, Mining Engineer, Oil, Gas and Energy Engineer and Geology.
