The Mandarin Live: Future Ready Public Service

WADSIH Director Alex Jenkins will join public sector leaders at The Mandarin Live: Future Ready Public Service – Western Australia, taking place in Perth and online on 28–29 October 2026.

The two-day summit will explore what it takes to lead a future-ready Western Australian public service during a period of structural reform, infrastructure investment, energy transition and rapid digital transformation.

Alex will take part in a panel discussion on the first day of the summit, alongside Rebecca Ostergaard, Chief Digital Officer at CSIRO, and Annelies Moens, Information Commissioner at the Office of the Information Commissioner.

The broader program will examine digital transformation and AI, structural reform, workforce capability, large-scale program delivery, government and industry partnerships, and place-based delivery across regional and remote Western Australia.

Sessions will focus on practical, WA-specific insights that public sector leaders can apply within their agencies, while providing opportunities to connect with senior leaders navigating similar challenges.

The event is relevant for public sector executives, agency leaders, policy professionals, transformation and innovation teams, digital and data specialists, and professionals responsible for workforce capability and service delivery.
