A community program developed for autistic teens aged between 13 and 18, Gen-AI Bootcamps are a crucial part of addressing educational and employment challenges for participants and their peers and families, increasing social integration and community engagement for all.
In collaboration with WADSIH, The Autism Academy for Software and Quality Assurance (AASQA) and the Department of Social Services, Gen AI Bootcamps provide foundational and industry-relevant education on the uses, applications and ethics around Generative AI, with hands-on projects and integrated wellbeing activities.
Taking place July 7-11 in Perth on the Curtin University Campus, September 29 – October 10 in Mandurah and returning in 2026 in Perth and Bunbury, WADSIH couldn’t be more proud or excited to work with our valued partners empowering autistic teens with education about the use and applications of generative AI.
