On June 17, the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre became the Peel region’s AI hotbed when the Peel Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc convened the Leading the Future Conference: Driving AI, Innovation & Emerging Trends.

WADSIH was very glad to be involved as the Infrared Cortex Partner. Director Alex Jenkins joined a roll call of erudite and passionate speakers including longtime WADSIH partner and Board Member SJ Price of Stirling & Rose, Julian Moore Director & Chief, AI Officer, SMS Online, Eric Starling, Principal Innovation Officer, Amazon and Michelle Sandford, Developer Engagement Lead, Microsoft.

The Conference was a lively and well received forum introducing SME owners, startups, business development and marketing professionals from across the region to what they can do with AI to make their operations more efficient and responsive.

Live demos, insights, talks and a hands-on workshop from Microsoft bought the most urgent and interesting topics around AI for business to life. Just some of the exercises and demonstrations that had everyone weighing in were building AI agents, generating custom music cues and creating a website from a single prompt.

Attendees left the event with a newfound appreciation about how AI is driving digital transformation, transforming the principles of leadership and helping businesses grow, all using real-world tools they can apply today and in the future.

Thanks to our friends at the Peel Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc, Ian Cadwallader, Hayley Potts and Andrea Jones.
