The increasing threat of the spread of COVID-19 has led to a change in the way in which we all conduct business. As a part of the Curtin University community, the WA Data Science Innovation Hub is required to follow the University’s actions to reduce the spread of the virus.
This means that the activities of the Hub will be significantly impacted over the coming months. This will extend to postponing our scheduled events and upskilling bootcamps, and holding meetings and consultations by remote means. Our priority is the health and wellbeing of the community that we engage with, and therefore we will take all necessary measures to keep you safe.
Given this, we are looking for different ways to deliver valuable content to WA organisations so that you can continue to engage in the opportunities that data science can bring to your organisation. We are working hard to develop content we can deliver online and via virtual means. This will include blogs, thought leadership, and interactive content and sessions to provide advice on how to embed data science into your organisation.
We look forward to continuing to engage with you over the coming months, albeit via different means than usual. We also welcome suggestions from you as to how we can assist and engage with you in different ways.
We thank you for your ongoing support of the WA Data Science Innovation Hub and look forward to continuing to work with you to enable the application of data science for the benefit of all West Australians.

Director, WA Data Science Innovation Hub
