WA Health Hackathon Week 2021
Weekend Sessions

21 - 22 August 2021

Collaboration Sessions

Over the weekend, teams will work together to explore their challenges and develop a solution prototype (or a proof of concept) using techniques including data analysis & visualisation, machine learning and digitisation.

The weekend sessions will run as follows:

  • Saturday 21st August 9.00 – 5.00 pm
  • Sunday 22nd August 9.00 – 3.00 pm

Venue: EZONE UWA Student Hub

Pitching & Award Ceremony

Pitching Session

3.00 – 4.30 pm

At the end of the weekend, each time will have the opportunity to pitch their idea to a judging panel of industry experts (to be announced soon). Each team will have five minutes to complete their pitch, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A by the judging panel.


4.30 – 5.00 pm

The panel will judge each pitch based on viability, sustainability, innovation, design principles & impact. Following the Pitching Session, the judges will leave to deliberate and select the winning pitched.

Award Ceremony

5.00 – 6.00 pm

The judging panel will then select the winning pitches, with recognition going to the third, second and first place winners.

Following the Award Ceremony, attendees will be invited to stay for drinks and canapes to celebrate a wonderful week of innovation and collaboration.

Attendance at this event will be open to Participants, Challenge Owner, Domain Experts and Key Industry Partners.
