Dr. Michael Borck, Lecturer at Curtin University
Michael Borck is a highly experienced professional in the field of information systems, with expertise in areas such as machine learning, software engineering, and computer vision. His journey began at the Queensland University of Technology, where he obtained his degree in Mathematics.
Dr. Borck later attended the Australian National University, earning a degree in Computer Science, and then furthered his education at Curtin University, where he received a Graduate Diploma in Business. In September 2017, Dr. Borck completed his PhD, which focused on feature extraction from multi-modal mobile mapping data.

David McMeekin is an academic specialising in Spatial Information, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Digital Humanities at Curtin University having a deep understanding of these fields. His background is wide, broad and varies. From working as a logistician in Europe, running NGOs in the Middle East, teaching Cross Cultural Communication skills, as well as being Senior Research Fellow and then Science Director within the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information, David has a rounded expertise across several areas. David has a strong foundation in Software Engineering, Software Development, Data Architecture, and the Application of Linked Open Data. With a commitment to excellence and a wealth of experience, he continues to make valuable contributions within his teaching, research and industry-based work.”
