We’re thrilled to officially announce that the WA Data Science Innovation Hub (WADSIH) will receive funding over the next four years from the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, together with funding provided by Curtin University, to continue building data science capability and capacity in WA.
We’re so appreciative of the Minister for ICT and Innovation The Hon Don Punch for his recognition of the role the hub plays in growing the uptake, education, training and awareness of data science in WA.
We’d also like to thank Curtin University and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research Professor Chris Moran for the ongoing support we receive, allowing us to support WA businesses and create meaningful collaboration opportunities within the WA community.
We have an exciting few years planned for the hub and we can’t wait to see more incredible growth for the WA data science ecosystem.
