For the first time, Curtin is opening its Curtinnovation Awards program to applicants beyond staff and students. If you have an idea for a new product, service or process improvement that could be advanced through work, collaboration or study at Curtin then you are eligible to apply.
Curtin can accelerate your journey to impact and help make your idea a reality.
Submit your idea to the 2020 Curtinnovation Awards for a chance to win a share of a prize pool valued at up to $100,000, and the opportunity to connect with Perth’s research, business and investor community. In addition to cash prizes, this year’s prize pool includes scholarships to the Curtin Ignition and Curtin Accelerate programs valued at up to $3,250 and $5,000 respectively.
The Curtinnovation Awards are just one way that Curtin is supporting our community to translate exceptional research outcomes and innovations into new commercial opportunities, products and services. Past winners include: iCetana, REX Ortho, Renergi and Climate Clever which all started with an idea for a new product or service based on Curtin research.
Applications are open to Curtin staff, current and prospective students and current and prospective industry collaborators and close on 12th June 2020. Winners will be announced in September.
