Western Australia’s Innovators of the Year 2024

Calling all innovators in WA – Applications for Western Australia’s Innovators of the Year (WAIOTY) 2024 are now open!

This award rewards exceptional and talented WA innovators for their product, technology, and/or service in the growth phase of development. Your innovation should benefit Western Australia economically, socially, and environmentally. It will acknowledge seven innovations across five categories, and winners in each category will be awarded a share of the $240,000 prize pool.

This year’s awards are:

• WAIOTY Winner Rio Tinto – Emerging ($60,000 prize)
• WAIOTY Winner Rio Tinto – Growth ($60,000 prize)
• Woodside Energy Platinum Award for Energy Innovation ($30,000 prize)
• Wesfarmers Wellbeing Platinum Award Winner ($30,000 prize)
• Business News Great for the State Platinum Award ($30,000 prize)
• WAIOTY Runner-up – Rio Tinto Emerging ($15,000 prize)
• WAIOTY Runner-up – Rio Tinto Growth ($15,000 prize)

On top of the financial award, finalists will also be gifted a professionally edited 2-minute video of their innovation, professional photographs of the company, features in a Business News, and an invitation to a program with workshops to further guide their innovation journey.
