Ultimate Hackathon: Vibe to Survive

WADSIH Director Alex Jenkins will be a judge at the Ultimate Hackathon: Vibe to Survive, taking place at The University of Western Australia on 1 August 2026.

Presented by Coders for Causes, the UWA AI Club and the UWA Data Science Club, this beginner-friendly hackathon will challenge teams to develop creative solutions to problems arising in a post-apocalyptic world.

Throughout the day, participants will also complete challenges designed to help them strengthen and improve their solutions before presenting their final concepts to the judging panel.

With no technical experience required, the Ultimate Hackathon offers a fun and supportive environment for participants to build practical problem-solving and teamwork skills. Anyone with a passion for developing ideas, collaborating with others and tackling unusual challenges is encouraged to take part.

Prizes will be awarded, with food and drinks provided throughout the day.
