Join the WA Data Science Innovation Hub for a thought-provoking lunchtime presentation from leading behavioural science expert Elisabeth Costa.

AI is increasingly influencing how we access information, make choices and interact with the world around us. To design and use these technologies effectively, we also need to understand the people using them.

Lis will explore the fascinating intersection between AI and human behaviour, sharing insights into how AI can influence our decisions and how behavioural science can help us achieve better outcomes from emerging technology.

The session will begin with a welcome from WADSIH Director Alex Jenkins, followed by a 40-minute presentation from Lis and an audience Q&A. Light refreshments and networking will follow the formal presentation.

About Elisabeth Costa

Elisabeth Costa is the Chief of Innovation and Partnerships at the Behavioural Insights Team, where she leads global partnerships and helps develop emerging areas of expertise.

Her work spans the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States, with particular expertise in the intersection of AI and behavioural science, market regulation and economic policy.

Lis previously served as Managing Director of the Behavioural Insights Team in the UK and held senior roles at the Australian Treasury. She is also a Senior Visiting Fellow in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics.
